Geraldine ("Gerry") Garles was born and raised in Northeast Iowa. Gerry received a Bachelor of Behavioral Science degree in Interior Design in 1977, from the University of Northern Iowa. Gerry worked for five years in Des Moines with an insurance wholesaler as a licensed agent selling high risk and event coverage. After moving to Fairfield in 1984, Gerry co-owned and managed a landscaping and nursery business for 25 years. Gerry has been employed by the law firm off and on since 1998.
